Summary: We only collect the Discord information needed to run Dyskvr and its dashboard. We do not sell your data, and we do not read your Discord password or private messages.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what information Dyskvr ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use our Discord bot, this website and the dashboard (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service and remove the bot from your servers.
Information We Collect
When you sign in with Discord
Signing in uses Discord OAuth2. With your permission, we receive:
- Your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar (the identify scope).
- The list of servers you are in, including whether you own them or hold the Administrator permission (the guilds scope). We use this to show the servers you can manage.
We never receive your Discord password, email address or direct messages through sign-in.
When you link a Roblox account (optional)
If you choose to link Roblox from the dashboard, we use Roblox OAuth with the openid and profile scopes. We store your Roblox user ID, username, display name, avatar image link and account creation date, together with your Discord ID and the date you linked. We do not receive or store your Roblox password, and we do not keep the access token after linking. You can unlink at any time from My Account, which deletes this saved information, and you can also revoke access from your Roblox account settings.
When you buy Premium (optional)
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details. We save the server ID, the plan, your Discord ID as the buyer, your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, and the renewal date so that Premium can be activated and managed. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
When you build a website (optional)
If you use the Website Builder, we store the content you enter (text, links, image links, colors and page layout), the server ID, the address you chose, your Discord ID as the creator, and the times it was created, edited and published. Published websites are public and can be seen by anyone with the link, so do not include private information.
When you use Discovery (optional)
If you apply for Discovery, we store the answers you give (server name, descriptions, images and links, ER:LC join code, departments and other details), your Discord ID as the applicant, and the review history. Everything except your private application answers is shown publicly once approved. If you post a review, we store your Discord ID, display name and avatar link, your rating, your comment and the date, and show them publicly on that server's page.
When the bot is in your server
Depending on the features enabled, the bot may process and store:
- Server (guild) IDs, names, channel IDs and role IDs needed for configuration.
- User IDs and related activity needed for features such as statistics, tickets, moderation actions and logs.
- Server settings and custom configuration that server administrators choose to save.
- Message content only where a feature requires it to work, such as processing a command. We do not sell or mine message content.
Technical information
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in to the dashboard.
- Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and requested pages, used for security and troubleshooting.
How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and show the servers you can manage.
- To provide, maintain and improve the bot's features and the dashboard.
- To store the settings and data that server administrators configure.
- To prevent abuse, enforce our Terms of Service and keep the Service secure.
- To respond to support requests.
Cookies and Sessions
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is set to be inaccessible to page scripts and, on secure connections, is only sent over HTTPS. Without it the dashboard cannot work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Signing out clears your session.
Data Storage and Security
Data is stored in a database on servers we control or rent from a hosting provider. We use reasonable technical measures to protect it, including access controls, secret management and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only:
- With Discord, since the Service runs on the Discord platform and is subject to Discord's own policies.
- With hosting and infrastructure providers that run the Service for us.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public from harm.
Data Retention
We keep server configuration and related data for as long as the bot remains in your server or as needed to provide the Service. Session data expires automatically. When the bot is removed from a server, the data tied to that server may be deleted after a reasonable period, unless we need to keep it for security or legal reasons.
Your Rights and Choices
You can:
- Sign out at any time, and revoke the website's access from Discord Settings → Authorized Apps.
- Ask us what data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Remove the bot from a server to stop further collection for that server.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them where they apply.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for anyone under the minimum age required by Discord (13, or higher in some countries). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-Party Services
The Service relies on Discord, and on Stripe for payments and Roblox for optional account linking. Your use of Discord is governed by the Discord Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the practices of Discord or other third parties.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
